Recent Art Work…. sketches for gasoline money!

Here is the recent work I have gotten… and I want to share it here in hopes of getting more jobs.  I can’t make the kayaking adventure work otherwise.

If you would like to order a sketch as a Christmas gift, please email me a high resolution photo of the subject and I will give you a quote.  Prices begin at $40 plus $7 shipping and handling (or one or more sketches-one price for shipping).  I prefer to do portraits only, but will consider other subjects.  Charlene.Swankie@gmail.com

Full-Time USA traveler, United States
July 2001, I took granddaughter on an Alaskan cruise thinking that would get me out of the blue funk of loosing my husband. We saw and did some great stuff... but if I didn't have the photos, I'm not sure I'd remember any of it due to bad knees and extreme pain. By 2004, I was ready for a wheelchair, but got new knees in Nov 05 and Mar 06. Got a bike in 06 and began riding again. Lots of physical therapy and am now able to walk, bike, hike and kayak. Then someone rear-ended and totalled my van and wrecked my right shoulder as well. Another surgery! As the shoulder got better I began taking small trips... then decided to go camping forever. Determined not to be an old granny couch potato... I hit the road. Walked up and down lots of brooks (that's great for getting your balance back and getting your legs working again), hiked a lot, slept a lot. Rested and healed. Sep 08 I bought a kayak... lost 65 lbs and can now bike, hike and kayak as much as I desire. I can't believe I suffered all that pain for so many years. I wish I had had this fitness level the past 40 years. Now I just want to be free and enjoy life and maybe meet other like-minded grandfolk.
