I am my own dentist!!!!

OK, I just had the most pleasant dental experience of my life. I had broken the one-tooth partial I had in Mexico, which was a temp while waiting for my tooth for the implant. I can't stand the way my smile looks with the tooth missing and I was afraid the Press might catch up with me because of the Hawaiian paddle so I hunted up a dentist to see if I could get the temporary partial fixed just for photo ops.

I found this lovely dentist, Dr. Keyla Springe (https://www.facebook.com/keyla.springe.1?fref=ts), from pacificcoastdentistry.com who agreed to help fix it. She asked me first, what will you do it I break it? I said, you want me to grind it??? So she let me fix it myself. Said she would have felt really bad if she made it worse. What a hoot. Maybe I could have a second career as a dental assistant?

Thank you, Dessirae, for taking these photos and sending them to me.

In 2006, I was shopping for a wheelchair. By 2007, I had new knees, better health and by 2008 a kayak. In Aug 2013, I kayaked my 49th state, Alaska, at the Holgate Glacier and in May 2014, I kayaked Hawaii, my 50th state, to celebrate my 70th Birthday and the finale to the wonderful adventure of Kayaking America. Next up... Re-kayaking southwestern states.
