29th State: Florida (my birth state) Nov. 26, 2010

What fun, I got to kayak Florida with my sister, my niece and my nephew.  That’s a first.  I have  not even kayaked with my own sons yet.

Location and text to be added later.  And I got to kayak Florida two more times, once with Gary Gearloose as he travelled south to see his Mom and a second time as he returned north heading to the Pacific Northwest and home.  He and I have now kayaked from one end of the country to the other together… Washington and Florida.

28th State: Georgia (Nov. 15, 2010)

No… Georgia was my favorite state????!!!!   Oh, I’m so confused.

Oh, I got so excited about this sign… but shucks, I didn’t see one.

I’ve worked hard and almost gone broke getting to my sister’s in Florida in time for Thanksgiving… and now I’m really close.  And tired.
